Agra is an ancient city set by the banks of the river Yamuna in the state of Uttar Pradesh. The city of Agra is most famous for its numerous Mughal monuments that dot its landscape. Among the many interesting sightseeing options in the city, the most famous one is the UNESCO World Heritage Site of Taj Mahal.

Voted as one among the Seven Wonders of the World, Taj Mahal is a beautiful mausoleum made entirely out of white marble that was built by the Mughal emperor Shah Jahan in memory of his beloved wife Mumtaz Mahal and is today a symbol of eternal love. Tourists from all over the world flock to see this beautiful monument whose beauty is enhanced by blooming gardens with flowers of various hues, shapes and sizes and a canopy of shady trees through which flow aesthetically designed waterways culminating in magnificent fountains.
