tanning has been under speculation now for many years and there are a lot of doctors and critics of tanning who say that it is very harmful to your health. There has been a lot of research done on tanning beds and the sun, and this research has proven that the over exposure to UV rays can be extremely harmful to your skin. UV rays have a way of penetrating the deep layers of our skin and causing very bad damage to our underlying pores. This damage can affect us right away through the signs of sunspots and other types of markings on our skin, but it can also come back to affect us years later. If you were to tan excessively for many years, there is a lot of research that shows that you are increasing your chance of developing skin cancer significantly. Skin cancer doesn't always come into play right away like you can see with sunspots, it may take a matter of years for the damage that has been done through tanning to affect your body and for it to develop skin cancer. However, awareness about the harmful attributes of tanning beds and the sun is causing a lot of people to quit tanning and realize that the negative consequences ...
... are much worse than the benefits.

The Popularity of spray tans Has Been Increasing

Spray tans have become increasingly popular because of the awareness that is building around tanning beds and using the sun to get tanned. It is fairly widespread now that the overexposure to UV rays can cause very harmful things to your skin. There are a lot of doctors and medical professionals that have backed up this research and have spoken their opinion in public. Despite their claims, there are still a lot of people who stand behind using a tanning bed or tanning with the sun. There are many times where exposure to the sun cannot be limited and we don't always have access to products like suntan lotion to protect us. A lot of humans live in climates throughout the world where exposure to the sun is quite common, and many of us do not notice the signs of excessive skin cancer in those areas, so we justify our tanning needs with that comparison. However, further research has shown that skin cancer is actually more common in people of light complexions. If you have a dark complexion such as being born into a race like being African American, Hispanic, or Asian, then you have a lesser chance of developing skin cancer over someone who is white.

Spray tans allow you to get a tan that you are looking for without the harmful exposure to UV rays. UV rays cause radiation to your skin and they should be avoided at all costs. By using a spray tan instead of going to a tanning bed or using the sun and laying out, you can get a bronze look to your skin which is exactly the type of tan that you are looking for but you can do it through a safe and effective way.
