London is a busy city, with plenty to do and see. It’s said, in our minds it should be if it hasn’t been already, that you need to actually live in metropolis to experience the lifestyle that the capital can offer. It’s the spontaneous lunches, the last-minute parties and the event that has taken months to plan. It’s all and everything in this town. Absolutely steeped in culture, history and diversity, there is so much to come into contact with that it is virtually impossible to even scratch the surface of the London way of life during a two-week holiday. Instead, take the time to really discover the city. You might think a travelcard is your ticket to the city, which is certainly handy if you want to travel from Barking to Richmond, though the shorter distances are much better travelled above ground. But getting from Buckingham Palace to Trafalgar Square? Do this by embarking on one of the many rickshaw tours available.

Riding the tube can become more tedious than people with suitcases attempting to get through the turnstiles, holding up ridiculously annoyed commuters. Do not even attempt to make eye contact ...

There are better ways of seeing the city than from the top floor of a bus, underground on the tube or whizzing past in a taxi with a ridiculous fare. Travelling around town with your own personal chauffeur, it’s important that you remember to request exactly where you want to go. It’s not about where they would be willing to take you, it’s where YOU want to go.
