In mines found in areas with poor infrastructure and where electricity is not available, the companies should purchase generators. Diesel generators are as effective as the electric generators and are relatively cheaper. Even with the electric ones for the companies where electricity services are available, it is important to have diesel generators so as to back up the electric ones in case of power shortages.
