Through a centralized DS Server, it’s headquarter now has the ability to update latest price change, promotions, or sales events instantly. It can even schedule air time in advance to save postage and labor. The dynamic nature of digital signage allows each supermarket to display content in zones and locations providing informative information key to the consumers. Such effectiveness can save up to thousands every year.

Multi-zone Display

... images. Thus, a user friendly interface for managing these images quickly is needed. Corn Digital’s Ceres-88 HD player designs the multi-zone display function for users to zone the screens to simultaneously display multiple contents. In the example, the screen is divided into three zones showing two landscape and one poster promotional messages.

When images are uploaded to a MS-1000 sign server, each Ceres-88 player will automatically download contents from the server and display contents based on the playlist schedule and templates setup by the user. User may decide to loop images or videos. The centralized sever allows any changes of content to be made on the server to reflect back to each sign instantly instead of manually updating every display.

CornDigital’s Ceres-88 series have adopted DMP (“Digital Media Processor”) solution rather than traditional Personal Computer (PC)’s CPU. DMP is a high performance audio/video decoder processor; it can perform a better video/image display with less power consumption. DMP provides hardware render features. For multi-zone display, just input each video/image content as desired. Do not need to pre-render video/image content for multi-zone display. This can save a lot of time compare to PC signage.
