There are tons of different diets out there, but most of them are not targeted at making you look younger and live a longer life. However, the Perricone diet, founded by Dr. Nicholas Perricone, is trying to do just that. Although it could be possible to loss weight when on this diet, the first thing you will notice will not be the weight loss, but the better overall feel of your body. There are other positive sides to this diet as well. It is said that this diet can also help to decrease the chances of inflammation in your organ system. It can also help you lose weight by improving your metabolism. Most people say that this diet can also help you to have a better mood, and help your heart to resists disease. However, the good news does not stop there. It also can improve your bone density, repair skin, and maybe even rejuvenate your immune system. This is one of the few diets that can do all that while being good for your body.

In the Perricone diet there is not really a list of foods you should eat, however, there is a list of food that you should not eat. This is a very long list and would take many pages to post it ...
... all here, however, some of the foods on that list are things like Coffee, peanut butter, pizza, breads and other things with flour. By following this diet, it is said that you can actually start looking younger in just three days. There are a lot of things to gain form this system but there are some people who do not believe in it. The truth is that Dr. Nicholas Perricone talks a lot about his own research, but very little of his work has ever been reviewed by experts. The main problem that people have with this diet is that is has some very big claims, and it's a very strict diet. Not only that, they say it's very costly, and most of what he claims is unproven.

Of course, this does not stop people from wanting to try this diet. In fact, you cannot change the fact that many people have said that it has worked for them. After all, what more proof do you need than the fact that it has worked for the people that have tried it. If you have money to be able to spend on a diet, and you do not mind having to stick to a very strict diet guideline, then the Perricone diet could be the diet that you have been waiting for. Not only could you lose weight, but it can help you look and feel younger in days.
