Hyundai India is the country’s second largest car manufacturer and top most car exporter from India. Since the time, Hyundai launched Hyundai Santro Xing, it has literally taken the Indian market by storm. Currently, the Hyundai Santro Xing is offered with 1.1 litre of SOHC four cylinder petrol engine that comfortably churns out 63 PS of maximum power at the rate of 550 rpm along with 96 Nm of maximum torque at the rate of 3000 rpm. This 1086cc of petrol engine is mated with five speed manual gearbox. The braking system here involves ventilated disc brakes on the front, while drum brakes at the rear. The suspension system is also impressive as the front axle comprise of McPherson Strut and the rear axle sports torsion beam with coil spring.
