Body For Life
There are a number of different diets available on the market in the present day, but Body for Life has to be one of the diets that have proven most effective for people in general. It is not so much a diet as it is a total fitness plan that has elements of dieting in it, but it also has elements of exercise in it as well to provide a total fitness regime for someone to follow. According to the Body for Life website, over 2 million people have been helped by the Body for Life plan and it continues to this very day to be one of the most popular fitness programs available on the market.
The creator of the Body for Life program was a man named Bill Phillips. Phillips, before creating the program, was a bodybuilder that had performed in bodybuilding competitions and had made something of a living for himself through those competitions. Once he retired from the profession of bodybuilding, he decided to come up with the Body for Life diet plan and he came up with a combination of dieting and exercise that over the course of twelve weeks could totally reshape the way someone's physique looked. ... name as the program and the book went on to become one of the mega best sellers of the fitness literature world.
Another aspect of the Body for Life program is the EAS competition. During the EAS competition, people are charged with the task of writing about the experienced they had when they tried out the Body for Life program. In addition to this write up, contestants are also asked to send in the before and after pictures that they took of themselves before and after they started the Body for Life program. Based on all of these different submissions, the winner is chosen for that particular year as being the person to achieve the best overall results from the Body for Life program. The first prize is usually a considerable amount of money and while the competition has only been around since 1996, there have already been years where the top prize was $1 million or more.
The main advantage that Body for Life has over other weight loss plans is the fact that it gives you detailed information on what to do with both diet and exercise. Most plans will give you one or the other, but Body for Life is by far one of the most complete weight loss plans available.
