As humans face new problems in their daily life, they come up with relatively newer solutions to combat those problems. Such a problem in the modern workplace is the availability of proper workspace so as to commence and continue their operations effectively. As it is, space is not a problem. However, the modern workplace is absolutely filled with everything from computer stations, consoles, paperwork to of course the essential tables and chairs. In such a stuffed and compact environment, it is difficult to maintain efficiency for long. Thus, a system that manages such uselessly used up space is required in the modern workspace. This demand is met with storage systems, or as is the newest trend which is to use storage shelving.

These are generally for use in warehouses and storehouses, where there is plenty of space to contain these long shelves, both laterally and vertically. In this way, long span shelving can provide storage space for almost an endless amount of stores and stock.

Thus, storage shelving in this manner provides workspace that was earlier taken up and in the process increases workman efficiency.
