Most of the major hearing aid corporations put money and effort into educating the world about hearing loss. Phonak, for example, has launched a program called Hear the World that is dedicated to spreading the word about the importance of protecting hearing. Most of the other companies have begun similar initiatives.

Dr. Mainord received his Bachelor of Science degree in Speech Language Pathology from the University of Central Arkansas and his Master of Science degree in Audiology from the University of Arkansas for Medical Sciences.
