With a tough job market and a difficult economy, many people have decided to go into business for themselves. Some of the people that have gone into business for themselves and made a profit doing it are resellers. Resellers are individuals or companies that sell products and services that were made by someone else. There are several different types of resellers, and while the types of products and services that they resell may vary, the opportunity that they each have to become successful does not.
Resellers that deal in material goods typically purchase the products themselves and mark up the prices. Once they resell them, they make their profit and can reinvest. People can resell anything from non perishable foods and toys to compact discs and DVDs. Some people in the reselling business purchase their goods at a local store, while others instead choose to buy them entirely online.

A great deal of internet reselling occurs much the same way. Resellers can sell products and services for other companies on the internet that they never will have to ship or keep in an inventory. Some of these services include various search engine optimization and social media services, and can be quite profitable. As with drop shippers, the profits from the sale are split between the two parties.

Resellers of all types can have the opportunity to make a good living. With such a wide open market of products and potential customers, anyone can make a living reselling goods and services may by someone else.
