The Coffee-culture & Decor
Coffee-culture is growing exponentially. It’s a western concept and has replaced the old time chai-addas and dhabas. Now, youngsters go out for coffee and snacking to coffee-shops regularly. These coffee-shops are not just places to eat and drink but also serve as meeting joints for friends, study-groups and business clients too! These coffee-shops exhibit vibrant energy and are also soothing places to have a good time all by oneself reading a book with a nice cup of coffee!
One thing that comes to mind is-what really makes these coffee-shops so preferred and liked? The most logical reason behind the trend could be the fact that one doesn’t have to spend too much money just for spending some time out with friends, if one goes to a coffee-shop. Coffee-shops are usually affordable and they are places where one can go without feeling obliged to eat!! While at usual restaurants, one has to ensure that one orders proper food or else one is asked to leave; in coffee-shops one can just order a cup of coffee at non-meal hours and still have a good time at the place! Another reason could be the unique-ness of the ambience ...
... at a coffee-place. The idea of coffee-shop feels extremely exotic and exciting as it is a European concept. People, especially youngsters find it fantastic and attractive to go to coffee-shops on a very regular basis owing to the young-western spirit and unconventional appeal the coffee-shops strive for, as opposed to the regular restaurants.
The décor of a coffee-shop also indirectly affects the appeal and spirit of the place. Usually coffee-shops are decorated in bright and cheerful colours. The coffee-shop owners aim to create a youthful and unconventional décor to attract more and more customers. Just think of it…who wouldn’t like to visit and spend time at a place that’s peppy and perky looking?
It becomes an obvious point to state after having discussed the amazing customer-base of a coffee shop that a coffee-shop should be designed and decorated in a way that’s low-maintenance and still looks beautiful! The more the customers, the more the maintenance…don’t you think? So, in such a scenario, the intelligent alternative to delicate furnishing is using plastic laminate! Laminate would add strength to the furnishing and would make the area stain-resistant, anti-bacterial growth and hence, hygienic. A decorative laminate would make for a lovely product that merges aesthetics and usability in itself! The laminate colors can be matched with the rest of the things- the walls, the window décor, the doors etc. Interesting isn’t it?!
