Today, the world has been revolutionized with the vast use of rubber and the tires that we use in our vehicles are made out of rubber. Although, rubber is a renewable resource even then it is creating a problem for the environment because the tires are made up of synthetic rubber which when burnt releases many harmful gases into the atmosphere. People dump the tires into the landfill sites without knowing about the disposal of these tires. The tires which are left out in open spaces collect rainwater thus, becoming the best breeding ground for the insects and mosquitoes.
The Burning of tires give rise to huge amount of toxic gases which pollute the environment. These toxic gases include all the heavy metals like lead, benzene, polycyclic hydrocarbons, styrene, butadiene, dioxins, furans which deteriorate the environment. Benzene, styrene and butadiene are carcinogenic which can even cause cancer and damage to the central nervous system. So, burning of tires is not a very good option to dispose of these tires because it is not only harmful for environment but for our health as well.

If you want to renovate your house and remodel it then, rubber flooring is the best option because it is the most durable material as well as it is not much expensive. The rubber mulches made up of reclaimed rubber can be used as ground applications as the mulches are very effective beneath the equipments like climbers, sea-saw and swings. The mulches are used to cushion the play equipments because they reduce the chances of injuries at greater extent.
Reclaimed rubber can be used in several ways in the wheels of trucks, bicycles, cars, motorcycles and other vehicles to run. Usually, automobile companies are nowadays making use of reclaim rubber to gain more profits because reclaim rubber is very much affordable as compared to synthetic or natural rubber. Rubber bands made up of recycled rubber, also named as gum bands, binders, lackey bands, elastic bands, lastiko are used in VCD players and DVD players as belts to open and close the device. Many footwear companies are making use of reclaim rubber to make slippers because the slippers are very much durable and stronger. Rubber door mats and rugs are being made up from the reclaimed rubber. These are few common products which are derived from recycled rubber. There are around hundreds of such items which can be derived from reclaimed rubber. The recycled products are money savers as well as act as a shield for the environment.
