Due to busy schedule of your life, you may be unaware about the happenings taking place inside and outside your body. One such change that can be seen nowadays in some relatively young people is the problem of a sagging neck skin. This is caused due to the weakening of a certain kind of muscle in the part of your neck. Consequently, you may have some emotional issues if you ignore the problem. The neck being a prominent part of the human body is quite vulnerable to such problems. And interestingly, the neck is that part of the body where the signs of aging can be easily seen.

The remedy of this is to go for a neck lift surgery. A neck lift surgery is also called “platysmaplasty” in medical terms. The surgical procedure usually takes about 2 to 3 hours for its completion. This treatment is generally for old people but exceptional cases like the one pointed above are also considered by the surgeons. Platysmaplasty is a sophisticated treatment methodology and unless and until the respective surgeon is skilled enough, it is not wise to get oneself ...
... operated.

Before the operation, the patient is generally given some type of anesthesia to make him/her insensible to the pain resulting from surgery. During the platysmaplasty method, the weakened muscle of the neck i.e. platysma is tightened and modified. The aim of this rejuvenating technique is to restore the elasticity of the skin that a person loses due to the aging process.

Now what is actually done is some incision or cut on the affected areas of the baggy skin thereby lifting it strategically. The whole process itself is very complex. In this procedure, a small incision is done at the bottom of the chin and at the ear’s rear portion. Afterwards, the fragments of the fat in the muscles are removed and stitching is done at the front. Ultimately, this makes the neck firm.
