There are some procedures which make use of magnets to eliminate metals from rubber. The rubber is then grounded into various granules used in consumer industries to make new products from reclaimed rubber.

Recycled rubber is used in making floor mats which can be placed both outdoors and indoors as they minimize the accidental damage and provides protection to the floor against spills. Reclaimed rubber can also be used at weight rooms and gyms. The floor mats made up of reclaim rubber are excellent for those who wear special soled or spiked shoes for playing golf or baseball. Apart from this, the floor mats can be used in sauna baths and locker rooms.

Reclaimed rubber can also be used in the laundry area, kitchens and even outside the bathrooms as these areas usually remain wet and these mats can easily absorb water and make the area slip resistant, durable and easy to clean. This rubber can also be used as ramps in water-parks, skating rinks because it provides excellent shoes toehold which prevents slipping and fall.

Recycling of rubber has many benefits and it should be increased at greater extents to prevent our environment from being degraded. Though rubber is a non bio degradable substance but even though we can use it by recycling.
