Enterprise Applications & J2ee
Java software development, Java application development or Java development is more in demand from India due to the new addition of J2EE. Everyone really likes the new edition from Java community as it is highly modernizing the applications used in enterprises. Developers as well as people usually think that the enterprise apps are dependent on this new edition which has set of APIs and guidelines from Sun.
It is extremely disappointing that most people have thoughts fixed up in their minds of the perfect tuning going on between their apps and J2EE. They really need to know that it isn’t the way they are thinking. Well some also say that enterprise applications cannot run without the existence of J2EE. Builders face issues and the most important one is a very fine line between what is required and what is not while they are developing enterprise applications. More and more people are over boarding their applications where they want more, get more and use more. Here the problem exists.
In real very less companies and industries require these kinds of services and half opt it are with JDBC based solutions. In JDBC ...
... when the presentation logic is housed in servlet in combination with accessible database would suffice for most apps and also the ecommerce ones. Updating with any presentation technology helps to build a more robust solution. Companies would definitely like to choose the JDBC experts while there is no need for EJB, XML or JSB etc. Is this the approach companies strongly desire to opt for? Not many can really find out what exactly they want and can come out with solutions development as per their imagination.
This is extremely a big mess to handle in for small and mid-sized companies. These people are paying for more secured, high-volume transactions or high-money sites but don’t realize that they are really not in need for this. In real by getting options like this they are reducing their performance and operation efficiency. All this is due to inability of developers’ knowledge or capability of the proper usage of publisher/subscriber and point-to-point messaging services. Unaware they are of its numerous uses and communicative nature for slow formats. XML has strong ability of data exchanging across the apps but still it is used for communicating in companies.
J2EE needs clear and in-depth understanding for enterprise applications development. If you truly desire to communicate via HTTP with committing delivery of messages and support of millions of transaction that runs across several servers then you only need is an efficient J2EE solution. But this is not the case due to non-awareness or lack in knowledge of entire platform and its supporting technologies. In the last years since the inception of J2EE all the above mentioned results are hardly obtained by few in offshore java development.
Quite a common funda in most enterprises is they hardly find time to hear to exact requirements or the benefits that the technology is providing them. In haste they want to buy the product that is presented in front of the company owners in an impressive way. That’s it! They are impressed with the way it is presented and the list of acronyms but really the concern here should be to fit their requirement category and achievements.
