One of the largest Spanish Autonomous Communities is Andalusia with the highest population and varied panoramic landscapes. Its benign climate and friendly locals have attracted many tourists to its region.Andalusia offers 3000 hours of sunshine the whole year through with long stretches of beautiful sandy beaches. The natural ports in Andalusia made it a safe refuge in the past for Phoenician navigators.

Costal offerings

Huelva and Costa de la Luz in Cadiz are famous for their beautiful and fine sand beaches. Their strategic positions near the Atlantic Ocean and the Mediterranean Sea make them a strong holiday resort favorite with the locals and tourists. They are close to the famous Strait of Gibraltar, Almeria and other interesting places of interest in Andalusia.Visitors to Andalusia are always thrilled by the sandy golden beaches with majestic mountain range surroundings and lush pristine natural reserves which are the haven of flora and fauna. The beaches of Andalusia offer plenty of water sports which include windsurfing, kite surfing, jets skiing and scuba diving.

The region of Andalusia practices a rich artisany which is easily seen and appreciated from the many activities and celebrations running throughout the year. This includes flamenco, bullfighting and fiesta celebrations.

There are many fabulous towns and cities in Andalusia which are worth a visit; Seville is one of them. It is Spain’s third biggest city which offers plenty of historical beauty such as the Giralda and Torre del Oro. The Arabian bell tower and huge cathedral have become famous landmarks of Seville. The ancient quarters of Barrio Santa Cruz are another exciting sightseeing attraction for the tourists.

Granada is another great choice of holiday vacation in Andalusia, villas espagne with its fantastic historical monuments such as the Alhambra which is the world famous Arabian palace of Moorish design set in the midst of the majestic Sierra Nevada Mountains.Cordoba continues the impressive offerings of Andalusia with its Great Mosque of fine Moorish architecture while Malaga attracts many tourists to its Alcazaba and fine beaches. Many of Andalusia’s towns and cities are strategically located amidst the spectacular mountain ranges as their backdrops with sandy beaches and all year sunshine for a great holiday anytime.
