Wayanad - The Green Barrier
Wayanad is a beautiful and rustic district of India, sitting on the southern tip of the Deccan Plateau forming the green barrier of Kerala. Perched in the majestic Western Ghats, in the north-east region of Kerala, Wayanad boasts of rich natural surrounding and a rustic ambiance which charms tourists from all quarters. The local markets of Wayanad are widely renowned for their coffee, tea, cocoa, pepper, plantain and vanilla among others.
