How You Should Celebrate A Norwegian Christmas
In Norway Christmas is considered by many people more of a holiday for kids. But adult people will enjoy the decorating, backing or any other kinds of preparations which are needed to celebrate the winter festivities as well.
1. Try to prepare for Christ`s Nativity by simply taking part in Advent that will mark the beginning of the church year. Advent starts four Sundays before Christmas Day.
2. Try using an Advent calendar for marking the days. For every one of them, you should open another door in your calendar.
3. Try to chop down your very Christmas tree if you will live in Norway, and then adorn it with various nice decorations. Some traditions may call for their parents to decorate the tree on Christmas Eve, letting the kids see it with short period of time before the presents will be opened.
4. You should expect outdoor Christmas trees displayed in various public areas to be lit the first Sunday of Advent.
5. You should make your very own candles which can be used as lights on the tree as well as on your Advent wreath. In the past time, the way the candles burned has been thought as ...
... a sign; for example, if a light should went out, it meant the owned would soon have to die.

12. You should follow the old custom of circling the Christmas tree. One specific person will circle the tree and picks up a present, then will pass it to the future owner.
