You may have recently seen or heard an advert on the TV or radio about payment protection insurance (PPI) being miss-sold to millions of customers in the past. You may have even had an information pack through the post, or a phone call at home advising you on how you go about proceeding with your own PPI reclaim. PPI is sold alongside another form of financial agreement, like a mortgage or loan for example, and it is there to help you pay your lender your monthly payments should you fall ill, or have an accident and unable to work.
