Jaipur popularly referred to as the 'Pink City of India' is the capital and also the largest city of Rajasthan. The city renowned for its royal heritage, grand palaces and forts is a popular tourist destination of India, luring in people from all parts of the country and also rest of the world with its grandeur and charm. Jaipur also forms an integral part of the 'Golden Triangle' of the Indian tourism industry, the other two being Delhi and Agra. The local markets famous for its colorful fabrics, rajais (comforters), etc are also a must see attraction of Jaipur.

Along with shopping and sightseeing, there are plenty of other activities which can be enjoyed in the region for instance, puppet shows, folk songs and dance etc organized almost every evening by various resorts and hotels of the region. A must do in the region is to feast on the local culinary delights like the dal batti churma, safed maans, laal maans and other such local food dishes. Another must do in the region is to enjoy an elephant or camel ride.
