Agra is like any other Indian city located in the northern region of the country in the state of Uttar Pradesh, except for the fact that it is home to the grand monument of love the 'Taj Mahal' a UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site. The region is one of the most popular tourist destinations of India widely recognized all over the world. The local markets of the region are no less a tourist attraction and are renowned for their leather goods, perfumes, bangles, etc. A must do in Agra is feasting on the renowned pethas (Indian sweet) and the highly delicious varieties of chats.
