Agra is a chaotic Indian city located in the north Indian state of Uttar Pradesh. The city is home to the widely renowned UNESCO World Heritage Site the ‘Taj Mahal’. Along with the sightseeing and shopping in Agra a must do in the region is to gorge on the renowned local sweet ‘petha’ and the spicy and tangy Indian chats and various other snacks. Agra grandly observes the ‘Taj Mahotasav’ wherein it holds several exhibitions, cultural songs and dance performances giving the entire region a very festive look and as such is one of the best times to visit the region. There are also plenty of hotels and resorts in Agra catering to the accommodation needs of the myriad of travelers visiting the region.
