Agra - Mesmerizing Destination

Agra the former capital of Hindustan is a magical destination wrapped in a dreamy, romantic and somewhat melancholic love story of the great Mughal emperor Shahjahan and his wife Mumtaj Begum. The city stands today as testimony to the emperor's eternal love for his beloved wife immortalized forever in the form of the grand monument Taj Mahal. Today the region acting as a pilgrimage to love attracts millions of people from all corners of the world thronging to the region in large numbers to celebrate the feeling of love.
Agra is one of the most popular tourist destinations of India and forms an integral part of the 'Golden Triangle' of Indian tourism industry, the other two cities being Delhi and Jaipur. The local markets of the region are also a major attraction and are renowned for its bangles, leather goods, perfumes and miniature Taj models among others. A must do in the region is to feast on the local snacks and food especially the ‘pethas’ Indian sweet and the wide varied of mouth watering Indian chats.
