Agra located on the banks of the Yamuna River in the city of Uttar Pradesh is an extremely popular tourist destination of India. Home of the grand monument of love the 'Taj Mahal' Agra is by far one of the most recognizable tourist destinations of India. Tourists from various corners of the country and also rest of the world flock to the region in large numbers. Along with the Taj Mahal which is a UNESCO enlisted World Heritage Site, Agra is home to two other such heritage sites namely the Agra Fort and Fatehpur Sikri.

Agra is a charming city offering tourists an interesting blend of old world charm, traditions and modern commercialization thus proving to be an interesting kaleidoscope. Some of the pronminent tourist attractions of Agra include the Agra Fort, Swami Bagh, Ram Bagh, Mehtab Bagh, balkeshwar Temple, Kailash Temple, Sikandra, Itmad - Ud - Daulah's Tomb, Jama Masjid, Chini Ka Roza, Fatehpur Sikri and more.

Apart from sightseeing, the city plenty of interesting things to do, from exploring the local markets renowned for their leather goods, perfumes, bangles, etc to gorging on the local culinary delights from the quintessential Indian chats and snacks to the mouth watering varieties of pethas (sweet).
