Cruising has never been as popular as it is now, and the reason for this is mainly because it is so convenient and affordable. Why, just by typing "discount cruises" into my search engine browser, I find hundreds of possibilities. 17 nights starting in New York, then to Bermuda, Portugal, Spain, Morocco, France and Italy--all for less than $2,000 a person; 18 nights from Japan to Eastern Russia and Alaska--all for less than $2500; or what ...
... about an 18-night Panama Canal cruise, from Seattle to San Diego, Cabo San Lucas, Acapulco, Huatulco, Puerto Chiapas, Puerto Quetzal, Puntarenas, Panama Canal, Cartagena, and ending up in Fort Lauderdale--all for less than $2500. You can't beat some of these deals for all that you get to see and experience.

Not only are the destinations spectacular but the accommodations--even for discount cruises--are usually quite nice, aboard luxury cruise liners with all of the comforts, activities and amenities of a resort hotel. Even if you're vacationing as a part of a large group, travel aboard a cruise liner is very appropriate because there is something for everyone to do, and there is always something going on when you're not on land enjoying all of the exotic destinations on your itinerary.

Last year, my husband and I brought our two sons along on our anniversary cruise. It had been a long time since we had had a family trip of any kind, and our family business was doing really well, so we decided it was time for a vacation.
