Summer is turning to fall in just a few weeks, so if you're looking for an outside game to play especially if you live in a very hot part of the country how about learning to play the bean bag game? Some people also call it the Cornhole game, but the basic play is the same no matter what the title. There is a base on which sets a slanted board, made from either wood or plastic. There is a hole in it. You toss lightweight, filled cloth bags at the target from a specific distance away.
If you get a bean bag to go through the hole you score points. Bags that land on the board and stick there are also worth points, but they won't earn you as many. Bags are not worth points if they miss the board or if they fall off once they hit. The person who gets to twenty-one points first is the game winner. The beauty of learning to play this game is that anyone can do it. You can be old, young, or anywhere in between, because age doesnt matter. The game is just that easy.

Not everyone has a lot of strength of athleticism, and there can be too much strain and too many rules with games like Frisbee, badminton, or horseshoes. With that being the case, not everyone can join in and play the game. Anybody who isn't in good shape or who has a medical condition, as well as the very old and the very young often find themselves unable to participate. At a family gathering or other party, that seems unfair to a lot of people. You're able to avoid that with the bean bag game. The bags that are tossed at the board weigh very little, so there isn't any problem with tossing them the required distance. Some people leave the board out so they can play whenever they want, but setting up the board is very easy. Bean bag game boards will eventually be harmed by the elements, whether they are plastic or wooden, so it's important that you bring them in when you're not going to be using them for a while or find a way to cover and protect them. If you do this you'll keep your game around to be enjoyed with family and friends for a long time to come.

If you want, you can also make your own bean bag game. It's really not difficult, and there are instructions on the Internet that tell you just how to do it. A lot of people who really enjoy playing the game make their own, meaning that they have not only a fun time playing it but a sense of pride in what they've been able to create. Making sure that you have good instructions from a reputable Website is important if you're one of the people who would like to build your own game set. Have all your tools ready and get your supplies together. When that's done you can build your own game set and you'll have a lot of fun playing the bean bag game.
