It is the biggest city of South Africa. it lies in the eastern Cape province. The nick name of Port Elizabeth is also known as the windy city and the friendly city. It is very beautiful city. The Port Elizabeth harbor and waterfront were upgraded for the 2010 FIFA World Cup. It is expected to opponent the popular Cape Town waterfront. The city was one of the sites for World Cup games, and many more visitors came here. When the FIFA World Cup was expected airport was also upgraded to provide a tourists great facilities. The city centers were also upgraded to promote the tourism.Port Elizabeth is popular for the motor vehicle industry. There are many assembly plants in Port Elizabeth. The industries which have their plants are Volkswagen, General Motors, Ford, and Continental Tyres and other motor companies. The Port Elizabeth has very beautiful weather and the rainfall is mostly throughout the year. The rainfall is not very heavy its light rain. Winters are cool but gentle and summers are very hot.
