Rather than a constant compromise regarding who's going to win the "what we're doing today" lottery, you can very easily split up. Why not have a day on your vacation where mom and the girls head into town for some shopping fun while the guys stay behind to go fishing, and then, if they're lucky, clean some fish for dinner.

Vegetarians and vegans will always eat well here; not only are there several veg-only options, but most all other restaurants have plenty of vegetarian options, which isn't a luxury you'll experience in much of the country.
