Rollback In Petrol Hike; Government May Give Some Relief

It seems that the government is finally buckeling down to the mounting pressure and we may see a partial rollback in the hike of petrol prices.

So it seems like it is the same old story that the government is going to repeat; hike price, assess the amount of pressure and then go for partial rollback.

The government is facing the wrath in the name of common man from all political quarters. Even the ruling Congress party has claimed that even they were not taken into confidence before the decision was taken.

Now the situation is like that the government is waiting for petroleum minister Jaipal Reddy to come back from Turkmenistan and then the decision on taking rollback will be taken.

Sources are claiming that the government may rollback the hike by Rs 2-3 and the announcement in this regard will soon be made.

So it looks like the government has tried to bite the bullet but has ended up biting half and spitting the rest, funny, but at least middle class will get some relief.
