This hilltop fort of Rajasthan was built by Raja Man Singh who considered the original inhabitants of the region in 15th century. Jaisalmer Fort is very unique in itself. It is made of yellow sandstone and stands proudly in the mid of Thar Desert in Jaisalmer city. It is the second oldest fort of Rajasthan and the only fort in India where 4000 people reside within the fort complex.
