A little while ago we were asked to work a 2 year old vehicle that was damaged by a car stereo installation shop, and then sent to the dealer for repair. The installation crew had inadvertently drilled a hole right through the carpet and into the gas tank. As you could probably guess several attempts were made by the car dealership to shampoo out the odor damage, but the car was ruined with gas fumes, and perfumes from failed carpet shampooing. The smell was persistant and noxious, and the insurance company was desparate as the car was being deemed a total loss of about $28000. I assured everyone that OdorBGone would not only get all of the dangerous odors out , but we would also put a 1 year unconditional warranty on it. Then it was our turn to perform.

A few of the brand new parts they had put in had been re-contaminated from the remaining raw fuel, not to mention all the shampoo and detailing chemicals and stuff they had sprayed on and tried. We had to go to great lengths to get it all out completely remove the interior of the vehicle in order to track all the damage down, We also repaired all the interior ...
... parts that were repairable and extracted all of the old shampoo residue that had left the interior slimy and stick.

When regular detail shops shampoo carpet, they can only vacuum up the shampoo as they lack the ability to rinse it out. They simply don't have the proper equipment to RINSE and remove all the shampoo and dirt left behind. This is terrible for the consumer. Shampoos, soaps, solvents, degreasers can be very dangerous, and if left in your vehicles interior can be very harmful for adults, children, pets.

When we finished the car, the insurance adjuster inspected the car and was shocked we had successfully removed all of the residues and completely restored the interior of the car to a like new condition. He was a very happy client and we prevented the vehicle from being a total loss. We are automotive odor damage loss prevention specialists.
