The library features numerous storage management applications that dramatically enhance data security and performance. Most importantly, the library has been designed specifically for the tape industry’s most proficient format, the LTO (Linear Tape Open). TS3100 library allows connectivity to multiple LTO versions. Customers have the choice to use LTO-3, LTO 4 or the recently introduced LTO5 ultrium tapes and drives.

This multi-functional library features 2-U architecture and connects up to 24 tapes. Compressed capacity of space-efficient TS3100 library reaches 72 TB (terabytes).

For tape drive connectivity, a variety of interfaces have been incorporated including fiber channel (4 GB, 8 GB), LVD SCSI and SAS (3 GB, 6 GB). The library can accommodate 2 half height or a single full-height drive.
