Chandler is small city in Maricopa County, the State of Arizona. In its neighborhoods it has other important cities like Gilbert, Mesa and Phoenix. The city houses a small public airport that is known as the Chandler Municipal airport located at a distance of 5kilometer form the central business district of Chandler. According to FAA, Chandler Municipal Airport is a reliever airport for the Sky Harbor International Airport Phoenix and is built to share the air traffic load in the general State of Arizona. The airport has been developed to focus on the general aviation which includes all kind of civil flying whether private or commercial. This means all kinds of chartered planes, flight training, gliding, parachuting and air ambulance services are included in it. The Chandler Municipal Airport is providing unmatched service to the general aviation and thus one of the busiest general aviation airports in the United States.At present the airport is only in the public use and no commercial airline has any scheduled flight here yet it is prosperous and generating good revenue from the general aviation.

The helipad is hundred square feet in area and is built in concrete.The Chandler Municipal Airport has two runways paved in Asphalt. The runways are both 75 feet wide but one of them is longer than the other. These runways are used not only by the public but also by the three flight schools that use the airport for training their pilots. These are Quantum Helicopters, Chandler Air Service and Wings 270. The Quantum Helicopters is a school that trains the pilots in flying chartered planes and rotorcrafts.

The Chandler air Service gives training to the pilots of all fixed winged planes. It was built under the rules and regulations of the Federal Aviation Administration. The Wings 270 trains all kinds of pilots on private basis.The maintenance services that are present here include all kind of engine repair works, fuelling and replacing any part or accessories in the craft. Many aeronautical maintenance companies are providing their services here that make the Chandler Municipal Airport a perfect place for finding a solution to any kind of troubleshooting in the aircraft.Besides all these service the airport has a small dinner cafe where finest and delicious of all kinds of foods are served. The Café is named as Hanger’s Café because it is mainly used by the people who come here to hang their aircrafts. The café has outdoor sitting arrangement that is enjoyed by most of the people.
