A Travellers Guide To The Top Five Spots In Weymouth

Weymouth is one of the best seaside towns in Dorset and has been very popular with tourists since the 18th Century. With lots of attractions on hand I have decided to concentrate on five of the best places and these are as follows:
Weymouth Whitewater
This attraction is not for the timid and is an adrenaline fueled adventure that is most popular with younger age groups. If you like a challenge filled with thrills and spills then you will enjoy the strong tides and white-knuckle experience that Weymouth Whitewater has to offer, just be ready to get drenched.
Brewers Quay:
If you like History then Brewers Quay is the place to visit. There is the Timewalk Museum which is a superb voyage back through six hundred years of Weymouth's past displaying events such as the Black Death that struck the town in the 14th Century as well as the townsfolk preparing for the onset of the Spanish Armada. There is also the old brewey building which originates from the Victorian era and houses over twenty shops selling a range of specialist goods.
Sharky's Playzone
Sharky's Playzone is a superb place to take ...
... children. It caters for children of all ages as well as the bigger ones and even adults might feel like trying the Laserzone which is open in the evening for kids 7 years and older. There is also a bar if you {{{fancy|want|feel like}} a drink as well as a varied choice of snacks and drinks for the kids.
Sea Life Park
Specifically aimed at the whole family, the Sea Life Park with its indoor and outdoor attractions will keep people of all ages fascinated. With a wide range of sea creatures here such as sharks, octopus, seahorses etc the Sea Life Park is a superb experience if you wish to learn more about sea life.
Bennett's Water Garden:
Finally there is Bennett's water garden which is believed to have the best selection of water lilies in Britain. Named after its planter, Norman Bennett, the garden has continued to flourish spanning across a massive eight acres and is a perfect setting for a relaxing walk.
With so much to see and do it is no wonder that so many tourists choose Weymouth, and I would recommend visiting this historic town if you ever get the opportunity.
