The evaporation unit of the ductless air conditioners is placed on the interior, while the condensing one is outside.

The residential air conditioner sales have very different aspects in different countries and regions of the world, especially in large cities from hot regions. In Japan, for instance, the window AC units register the most sales, while in Israel all households use the split kind. As far as US is concerned, the most popular type of air conditioning used is the central air system.
