There was a time when I had a beautiful home. Well, I guess it still is, if you look past the view from the street.

Over the past months we've noticed some sagging and discoloration around the roof panels on the front of our house. Nothing serious we could see, but it did need to be addressed.

I did figure out that it was water damage and I made an attempt to seal the leak around the gutter. Several minutes after I started the work, I realized that this was out of my "scope of practice."

What did I do, I called a professional. What was the result? He knew to look for problems that I never would have thought of. He found them too.

After he completely removed all of the wood from the front part of the roof, he called me out to look at it.

My jaw dropped as I saw how it was all rotten completely through. I'm surprised it was still holding.

He then showed me why it happened. When the house was built just a few years ago, the builders failed to install a protective piece of aluminum that would keep the water away. The rear of the house had it and that portion is fine. However, ...
... the front did not and my once beautiful house is now a major eye sore in the neighborhood.

What does this have to do with you starting an MLM home based business?

Well, most people who want to start an MLM home based business look for the wrong things when getting started. Typically, they are most interested in the products and/or compensation plan.

Don't get me wrong, those are important. However, they are not what you should be looking for when getting started. Instead, you need to find successful people who have a systematic and duplicatable training system. In other words, you should be looking for competent help.

You see, most people start an MLM home based business having no business or marketing experience. That's okay. In fact, that's one of the things I love about this industry. People can grow and develop new skills. People from any walk of life have the opportunity for success.

That said, without proper training and systems, there is no hope of having success in an MLM home based business regardless of the products or compensation plan.

You can have the greatest product in the world, but if you don't know how to market it, you'll get nowhere.

Seek out people that have experience. People that have success. People that have a complete and duplicatable training and marketing system. When you find that, you have found the MLM home based business you are looking for.

P.S. The repairs to my house will be done next week. Because I have professional help, it's won't be an eye sore for long.
