Kelantan also known as the “Cradle of Malay culture” is located in the north-east of Peninsular Malaysia and the capital city of Kelantan is Kota Bharu. You may be wondering about the places to visit in kelantan. Yes, the State’s scenery is a delightful combination of antiquated villages, small towns and riverine settlements. The 88-storey chrome and steel towers are the headquarters of Malaysia’s oil and gas company “PETRONAS” and as well as several other corporations. Another interesting place to visit is the KL tower which stands over the Bukit Nanas Forest Reserve. This 421-metre-high KL Tower is currently, the world's fifth tallest structure. It has a revolving restaurant and an observatory deck at the top which has built-in telescopes that can be used to focus on the surrounding city.

The colourful Chinatown is a renowned bargain hunter’s paradise that apparently never sleeps. Intensely immersed in Oriental culture, heritage and history, Chinatown is undeniably one of the most prevalent tourist spots in Malaysia. At night, its key vein, Petaling Street is transformed into an active and vibrant night market packed with hundreds of stalls selling all kinds of goods at dirt-cheap prices as bargaining is the way of life here. Or you may visit the Central market also known as Pasar Seni. This landmark is significant of the SoHo flea market, housing a selection of shops that sell traditional goods such as batik, embroidery, carvings, souvenirs, sculptures, clothes and other fascinating items. If you are fed up with the busy streets you can visit the KL bird park which is one of the largest in the world. . This sprawling 20-hectare park encompasses a few separate parks – Brahminy Land, Hornbill Park, Flamingo Pond and the World of Parrots exhibit along with a free-flight walk-in aviary which houses over 3,000 birds.

Kuala Lumpur is an amazing place for one to holiday in. Throughout your visit here, you may see endless amount of action in this city due to the busy atmosphere around the place you stay. But if you want to escape from the hustle and bustle of the city life, then Bintulu is a good place to visit in Malaysia. Bintulu is one of the partitions in Sarawak with a history extending up to 40000 years ago with the discovery of early historic remnants that was found in Great Niah Caves. Bintulu is the fourth largest city in Sarawak, after Kuching City, Miri City and Sibu City.

There are many places to visit in Bintulu. One of the most attractive scenic coastlines is located at the Similajau National Park. It consists of small inlets, lovely and unspoilt golden beaches and captivating rock capes as well as coral reefs. These small inlets and beaches offer excellent opportunities for water sports. Moreover, if you enjoy spiritual architectural buildings then you may want to visit the Kuan Yin Tong Temple, or the Masjid Assyakirin. The Kuan Yin Temple may impress you with its skilfully created design while the mosque could give you a relaxing spiritual experience. And if you are visiting with your family for a weekend holiday, a must-visit place is the Tanjung Batu Beach, an ideal place for a picnic. Tanjung Batu Beach is a perfect place to enjoy the sun, the sea and the sandy beaches and to have fun. It is the ultimate spot for family and friends to meet and have a picnic or even camping and fishing.
