London Business School Celebrates Five Years In The Middle East

On Tuesday 24th April London Business school celebrated its 5th birthday of its Dubai International Financial centre and the strong commitment it has continuously shown to education.
The centre has been a fantastic success since it opened in 2007, as not only has it seen nearly 300 students from the Middle East and further afield graduate, but it has also been able to embody 53 other nationalities. Moreover, the institution has had the opportunity to work with leading companies, such as the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC), which has the largest client base outside of the UK. Hence, this is a great illustration of the accomplishments that the institution has been experiencing over the past five years.
The anniversary was marked by Nirmalya Kumar who is the Professor of Marketing and co-director of the School’s Aditya Birla India Centre. He delivered a inspiring evening presentation, entitled “The Emergence of Growth Economies and Corporate Giants” to corporate guests, students and regional alumni. This presentation had been accompanied with a previous panel discussion on “New Markets and New firms, A Growth ...
... Agenda”, which was delivered by Kumar and Andrew Scott the Professor of Economics and Deputy Dean.
The school celebrated that by undertaking an MBA in Dubai the students are setting themselves apart and gaining a genuine vital edge. It provides students with the chance to learn how to begin new or global responsibilities, pursue an entrepreneurial route or to just progress within their organisation: an MBA in Dubai will deliver knowledge, insights and confidence that operates successfully anywhere in the world.
The achievements that past students have experienced were also celebrated within the five year anniversary. One example of an accomplishment reached after an MBA in Dubai is Ulrika Hedlund. During her MBA, Ulrika developed confidence in her abilities as an entrepreneur, which consequently encouraged her to develop her own business after completing her programme. Ulrika specified that the programme has had “an enormous impact on [her] life” and she would “recommend it to anyone who has the same drive for professional development and thirst for knowledge”. Thus, the accomplishment and enthusiasm that the London Business School in Dubai has experienced and received over the last five years, is often reflected the strongest within its current and past students.
The London Business School in Dubai deserves the great recognition that it received on Tuesday 24th April as over the past five years it has experienced great achievements.
