Atlantic Coast Media Group On A Hiring Spree

Atlantic Coast Media Group came into existence in the year 2005. A recent PR by the group covered the brand history in brief and revealed the names of four new high rank executive hires at ACMG. Since its inception, the group has carved an untouchable growth chart. After the successful launch of its flagship brand Hydroxatone, they launched a couple of other brands, which proved to be equally popular. Its founder and CEO duo, Andrew Surwilo and Thomas Shipley, have led the group under their guidance and are the driving forces behind the unmatched success of the company.
ACMG’s success has acknowledged the industry and competition alike. It is a member of 2010 Inc. 500, list of USA’s fastest growing companies by Inc. Magazine. The group is also focusing on corporate social responsibility. Hydroxatone sponsored a couple of awards in the year 2011. It is the official sponsor for 2011 Daytime Emmy Awards and 2011 CEW Beauty Awards. In 2010, Andrew Surwilo and Thomas Shipley were the finalists for Ernst & Young’s 2010 New Jersey Entrepreneur of the Year award.

Co-founders and co-CEOs of ACMG, Andrew Surwilo and Thomas Shipley, have maintained a double digit growth and have emerged as market leaders with their flagship brand Hydroxatone, which improves skin tone and radiance.
Continuing with its fast paced success, ACMG is now on a hiring spree. With Andrew Surwilo and Thomas Shipley’s consent, they added three vice presidents (VP) and a chief financial officer (CFO) to the group.
• John Ende, the new CFO, previously worked with brands, such as Argent Trading Inc and International Collectors Society Inc, as CEO. He has also been the CFO of International Masters Publishers in the past.
• Holi Westby has been appointed as the new VP, Retail Sales. Before joining ACMG, she was with P&G Prestige as VP, Retail Sales.
• Then there is Steve Brita, who joined as the new VP, E-Commerce and Digital Strategy. Formerly, he was with Publishers Clearing House as director, Digital Sales, and has led Zumbox as its VP.
• Fourth new hire is Linda Andersen, VP, Marketing, Planning & Analysis. Linda’s past experiences have been with Nutrisystem as a senior consultant, VP E-Commerce at Rodale and director Brand Development at M&M Inc.
The last two positions, acquired by Steve Brita and Linda Anderson, were newly created. In response to US President Obama's’ call to nation’s CEO’s to hire more people, Andrew Surwilo and Thomas Shipley hired 100 employees in the first quarter of 2011 and the trend continued.
