Maruti Suzuki Ertiga – Cheapest Muv Available In Petrol And Diesel Engine
At present, Maruti Suzuki India is enjoying its domination in almost every car segment. From a small car like Maruti 800 to an SUV like Grand Vitara, every model is meeting the driving goals of people in India. A new addition to this list is Maruti Suzuki Ertiga, an MUV which provides great driving experience to 7 passengers. Showcased in the form of a concept called the R3 during this year’s Auto Expo, the Ertiga offers seven different variants with two engine alternatives - petrol and diesel.

In Indian automobile market, it is available in seven different variants include LXi, VXi, VXi ABS, ZXi, LDi, VDi and ZDi. Serene Blue, Ecru Beige, Fire Brick Red, Granite Grey, Silky Silver, Dusky Brown and Superio White are some colours as per the choice of people.

Engine
The Ertiga has two engine choices. It is outfitted with K14B engine which strengthens the value of Maruti in its acclaimed K-series engine portfolio. K14B carries forward the trusted and tested features of K-series engine equipment such as light weightiness, great fuel efficiency, outstanding power, low running and maintenance costs, low sound, vibration and harshness.
The petrol engine has displacement of 1373cc with outmost power of 93.8 bhp on tap at 6000 rpm. It produces outmost torque of 130 Nm at 4000 rpm. While on the other hand, the diesel engine has displacement of 1248cc with outmost power of 88.8 bhp at 4000 rpm. It produces outmost torque of 200 Nm at 1750 rpm.
With a price point of Rs 5.89 lakhs, the Maruti Ertiga has opened up an entire new segment altogether. Providing the qualities of an MUV, it is a seven seater that cannot be ignored as it offers quality, durability and reliability all clubbed into one which “A Feeling called LUV".
Having spent around 5 years in the journalism field, automobiles are something that catches my attention from the letter ‘A’. Speaking of Maruti, the recently launched Maruti Suzuki Ertiga Car – is an attempt to set a benchmark in the MUV segment. Priced below 10 lakhs rupees, the Ertiga offers both petrol and diesel variants.
