There are about millions of people around India who are always vouching for the merits of government jobs in India. Either they are already working in this sector or they are aspiring for such jobs and want to become a part of the government machinery. You should know that the Indian democratic system has actually presented two different sorts of governments in India, the central government which is at the helm of the country and the second one is the state government which is present in each and every state of the country. As the governance of the centre as well as the states are well handles and managed by their respective powers, so as the job recruitments are done in a separate way.

These rules are meant to protect the rights of the employees as well as provide the merits which are seldom observable in the private sector jobs. After the independence, there is a huge growth in the ...
... government jobs and this growth has been appreciated all around.

In this 21st century these government jobs are highly demanded but there is no doubt that private jobs have also set up a space in the minds of the millions of people. A little more inclination is towards the government sector, there is no doubt about it. Three of the basic reasons or factors that are responsible for popularity of the government jobs are given below:

First, the Stability of jobs is just awesome and doubtless in the government sector. It is one of the biggest factors attracting the youth today. There is no threat of getting the fire from your job as it is most common in private sectors. In government section, it is not possible until and unless you are into some crime or fault. In the private sector, when the company starts going in loss, they start to cut out the jobs. They have to balance their loss actually. Even if in government sector, some people have to be removed, the complete compensation is provided.

Secondly, the pay packages are amazing. The pay packet has improved a lot in the 21sy century. It happened after the introduction of the 6th pay commission. You need to know this fact. At present, the salaries of the government employees are either equal or more than their counterparts.

Third factor is the variety of jobs available in the government sector which is another attractant for the aspirants who have really worked and studied hard. In this area, jobs are recruited on the basis of their qualifications and interviews. Thus, there are so many options available. Applicants having right qualifications go for the jobs in railways, health set ups, armed forces, infrastructure, core engineering, IT and computer, transportation telecommunication, and even in bank jobs in India.
