There are three different types of sleep apnea. The most common type is called the Obstructive sleep apnea. It is caused because the soft tissue in the back of our throat tends to relax while we are sleeping. This causes a blockage of the airway that result into loud snoring. The second ...

It is caused when the brain cannot send signal to the muscles that control breathing. People with central sleep apnea rarely snore. The third type is the Complex sleep apnea.
