When is the last time you walked through the soap aisle of the department store and really looked at the products you find there? Most people just rush through, and grab the soap they always use and rush out to continue the rest of their shopping. But if you took a minute to browse the products, you would probably be surprised at the number of different soaps and cleansers that are available.

At one point, you only had different brands of shampoo, conditioner, and bar soap to choose from. Now, not only are there hundreds of brand names to select your soaps and cleansers from, but there are also a wide variety of soap types. From the traditional body bar soaps, to body washes that come in bottles with a pump already installed to easily dispense just the right amount, to foaming cleansers and soaps that claim to provide additional benefits other than cleaning to your body. Many body washes are designed to help hydrate your skin in addition to clean it; some contain exfoliating microbeads that help remove dead skin cells to uncover healthy skin underneath.

Soap Scents

Just as there are numerous types of soaps ...
... to choose from, you are also now able to choose what you want your soap to smell like! From floral scents to fruits, cologne and perfume aromas, and just about everything in between- you can start adding a pleasurable scent to your body from your morning shower as you wash up.

Some people take the time to match the scents of their shampoo and conditioner with their soap or body wash; and then continue that same scent for the perfume or deodorant spray they select for after they get out of the shower. This creates a layering affect with your scents that help the aroma linger without being overpowering.

Cleaning Your Face

Some cleansers are intendedto be used on your face only- and are created to be more gentle to the skin there. In addition to basic facial cleansing products, and foaming face wash, you can get deep cleaning cleansers for your face that help clean out clogged pores that cause pimples and blackheads, as well as facial masks that you put on and allow to stay on for several minutes ata time to activate the ingredients that lift dirt from your pores.
