‘All day work and no play makes Jack a dull boy’. Now if this saying rings a bell in your head, time has come that you take a chill pill and you go on a holiday. If you think that off late you have transformed yourself into a workaholic kind of a person, off you need escape on a vacation.

Thinking of where to go??
You have the time on you and your wallet is loaded with cash as well, but boy you are still thinking where you can go? Man the options are a plenty now-a-days. This is the Digital Age where information is available at the click of the mouse. So go ahead, log on the internet and check out the excite locations you can pack your bags off to.

Escape to the Sunshine State
If you are that kind of a person who loves the sun and sand, Florida is a perfect holiday spot you can think of going to. Florida is rightly nicknamed the Sunshine State. Beaches are a plenty in Florida.

Going by what the history books have to say, we come to understand that among the Europeans it was the Spanish who first set foot in Florida. Ever since then Florida has had its fair share of foreigner settlers. Way back in the 18th and 19th century, Florida came under the colonial rule of the English and the Spaniards before being declared a territory of the United States of America in the year 1822. It was about 20 years later that the state of Florida was being admitted to the union as 27th state.

What to do while in Florida
I did go on a holiday to Florida as well. The night before I embarked on my most awaited holiday to Florida, I was fortunate enough to be able to catch a glimpse of a travel show on my Time Warner Cable. What a coincidence the show was. Must thank my stars for being able to catch the sounds and sights of Florida even before getting there. It was then that I made up my mind that come what may I must visit the Magic Kingdom park.

A visit to the Magic Kingdom theme park
I was more than just happy to be visiting the Magic Kingdom theme park. My heart was filled with joy, I cannot tell you of. What I did was just watched in awe. I felt transformed into a world of fantasy. Watching the fairy tale set up before my eyes and coming face to face with the Walt Disney characters only doubled how excited I actually was.

I wanted to go to all of the attractions that were around. But trust me even a full day at the theme park is not gonna be enough for you to be able to explore the park. Some attractions were shut because of new attractions being added to the respective sectors of the park. The Space Mountain was the ride I loved the most. For all of you who roller coasters, this ride is something that you should not miss. There is lots more as a tourist that you could explore at the theme park. The food is a priced a little high at the theme park.

All in all I did have a blast at the theme park. One thing that I was happy of is the fact of being able to educate myself of the theme park even before physically visiting it. Thanks to the show that I watched on my Time Warner Cable.
