The game of Bingo has excited and entertained a diverse range of people for many years. Many remember the excitement of playing Bingo for fun as a child. However, Bingo is much more than just a child's game; it has evolved into exciting adult fun as well. If you have never experienced the thrill of waiting for a number to be called, hearing that number and then yelling "BINGO" in your loudest happy voice then you really need to give it a try.

Organized Bingo for adults has been a steadily growing industry over the last several years and it is no longer just a way for churches and organizations to raise money. Bingo is played in professional Bingo halls and casinos all over the world and online Bingo is now sweeping the globe, enabling you to play Bingo in the comfort of your own home.
One of the best places on the internet to play online Bingo is a website called www.888ladies.com. If you haven't yet checked them out you should because you don't know what you are missing.

In order to play Bingo you must buy a Bingo card. A standard 90 ball Bingo card is comprised of a 3 x 9 grid of numbers. ...
... Each row of nine squares holds five numbers and four blank spaces. Generally 90 ball Bingo cards are bundled in groups of six, whereby each group is called a "strip". One strip will contain all 90 numbers so that a match is made on the strip each time a number is called.

75 ball Bingo is played on cards comprised of a 5 x 5 grid of numbers. Each column and row contains 5 numbered spaces, except for the centre space (the space in the 3rd row and 3rd column) which is known as the "free space" and is automatically marked off at the beginning of each game before any numbers are called.
Numbers are drawn at random by a person called the "caller" (or in the case of online Bingo a random number generator). The object of the game is to mark the numbers as they are drawn (or called) on your cards in the hope of having the marked spaces form a specific predetermined pattern. Once a pattern has been marked off you may call "BINGO"!

Bingo definitely sounds like a lot of fun but what are the prizes like and how much can you win? This usually depends on you and those playing with you. Generally the price of the cards in a given game will determine the prizes. Some games have guaranteed minimum jackpot prizes. One weekly game on www.888ladies.com has a maximum prize available of up to £888,888! This same game has a minimum guaranteed jackpot of £888. The fewer numbers it takes the winner to call Bingo the higher the prize awarded. Imagine having a chance of winning £888,888 playing online Bingo. No wonder www.888ladies.com has such a loyal throng of players. Go check them out to see how much you could win.
