Work Visa Australia

Working Holiday Makers Visa: This is commonly used by young budget travelers, as it offers them a way of earning money even as they travel across Australia. This visa is valid for up to 12 months and you may hold any job for up to 6 months. To apply, you must be between the age of 18 and 30 years old and be from one of these countries - Canada, Belgium, Denmark, Cyprus, France, Estonia, Germany, Finland, Hong Kong Italy, Japan, Ireland, Korea, Norway, Malta, Taiwan, Sweden, The United Kingdom or The Netherlands.

Work and Holiday Visa: This is for citizens of certain countries like United States, Chile, Bangladesh and Turkey, who do not have a working visa agreement with Australia. This visa is valid for a 12 month period as well and you can hold a job with the same employer for up to 6 months.

Employer Sponsored Work Visa: This is meant for highly skilled or qualified persons who have gained permanent or temporary employment in Australia. The employer typically applies on behalf of the employee in Australia.

Skilled Migration Program: Professionally skilled and experienced migrants who have yet not found a job can apply for this visa, if their skills are much in demand in Australia. You must be between the age of 18 and 45 and also have a good command of English.

Business People Visa: This is targeted at entrepreneurs who wish to start or manage a business in Australia. There are 3 further sub-categories for this visa - business visit, business development, permanent business development.
