Why Is Bigadda Failing?

Bigadda was a project with a lot of potential. A project that combines the concept of social networking and shopping would
have been a sure fire hit. The site also had options for customers to be able to upload, share and view photos. Even music
files and songs were available for sharing, listening and uploading. These two factors, being the most popular with the
youth was enough to send the site into the horizons of success. Add to it the angle of easy shopping and the availability
of leading brands; you have in your hands a fool proof plan for instant success that could be sustained for years with
minimum work. Still, somewhere along the line, Bigadda faltered and fell. It fell hard and the hit almost crumbled it.
The problem was not with the idea or the layout. The problem lay with the intricacies of planning. The execution was flawed
and imperfect. The executives were not well trained and the Bigadda customer care section left a lot of points unfulfilled.
These factors caused the foundation of the company to shake.

... and shipments being delayed for a long time. The customers started to lose
patience. The situation worsened when the missing shipments could not be traced and brought back on schedule. This
increased the anger among the customers. The inefficient staffs were struggling to deal with the problems.
The Bigadda customer care section was unreachable and almost always not able to help. When it failed as a last resort the
customer started to file a complaint against Bigadda. As the
Bigadda complaint list grew, so did the list of unsatisfied customers and growing unrest. The company was trying to
solve their issues slowly.
They should concentrate on an overhauling of all the sectors and they should see to it that their employees are well
trained. An efficient team of employees can turn around the fate of the company by getting excellent results from the sales
section. The purchase forms should be dealt with carefully and the delivery section should take care to cross check every
delivery with the order slip. This simple step can erase out every wrong delivery. The shipments should be tracked and
timely delivery ensured. The customers should be handed over the product on the promised date. In case of any unavoidable
delay the customers should be informed of it as soon as possible. This will increase the trust that the customers have on
the company.
Such simple steps can ensure that Bigadda is able to make a remarkable comeback and stay on as a strong performer in the
field of online shopping. As a final step to revamp the company, the customer care section should be made up to date. If
the customer care executives have all the required facilities to do their job well they can ensure a high return in terms
of customer satisfaction. If the customers talk to representatives who sound confident and clear, they will have a sense of
positivity about the company. For the time being the customers should be able to take care of their shopping needs with a
lot more cautiousness.
