One fine evening, my friend and me was travelling from New York City to Staten Island, NY and we were perfectly enjoying our ride in the laps of Subaru Impreza until we had the worst experience of locking out. However, all thanks to the car locksmith, who saved my friend from doing the stupidest thing, he could ever do to his beloved car.

Here is what happened
We were about to cross the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge (connects the boroughs of Staten Island and Brooklyn in New York City) and do know what makes him to stop for a quick smoke. We both stepped out of car; he had a smoke and I just ranged my aunt to whom we are going to see in Staten Island. After a minute, we both were looking at each other and one line that came out of out my friend’s mouth was, “Shit! I left the key in ignition.” ‘We did everything but the kitchen sink’ to unlock the car, but seems like car does not want to let us in and simply refusing from offering its lap again. True said, “When we are in trouble, the first thing that stops working is our brain.” At this stage, instead of behaving at our age, we were at each other ...
... throats. Finally, the stupidest things came to my friend’s mind, he decided to break the glass, and I was totally astounded with his intelligence. Suddenly a car locksmith passed by and on seeing his van, we waived him to stop and rest is below:

Car mechanic:
What is up guys? Why are basking in the middle of road? Do not tell me that you guys are locked out?

My friend:
Yes angel, we are locked out so please help up here.

Car Mechanic:
Come on guys, I will help you but that will cost. Let me see what your baby wants. Listen up fellows we have a situation here and we need a duplicate key to unlock your car, which will cost you nearly $400. Do you want me to do or you need to see someone else?

My friend:
Jesus Christ $400, is not it way to expensive? Why is that?

Car Mechanic:
Buddies, I need to make a cut and coded key and for this I need to use specially purchased instruments, for which I paid in stacks and to the date, I am paying for their licenses. Please be advised here, that you can always try cheap alternative, but this way you will be damaging your car and will be inviting unbearable expenses.

My friend:
All right, I am fine with paying that. Please do it and let us out of this situation.

In next minute, the car locksmith was doing his job and we were waiting for him to come down with a duplicate key.
