There 3-step Scientific Guide To Buying The Right Television For Your New Home
Buying a television is a three step job to begin with. And that is apart from the decision to buy a new one. One of the reasons why you may want a new television is you simply want it. You want to spend money on one of the latest gizmo or you are tired of looking at the same television for years together. Televisions normally give services of 10 years or more but boredom can spiral you into buying something new. The worst thing to buying a new television is the confusion associated with zeroing on the right one in terms of price, viewing pleasure and the pride involved in owning the latest.
However if you decide to go about buying a new television scientifically then everything is easy. It is actually a three step procedure that you may want to follow. So get a pen and lots of paper and start your endeavor with the first step.
Step # 1:
The first question you will encounter is what type of television you want to buy. If you have a college bound son or daughter they will have given you fair idea of what they would like to have, else you have to go solo. Let’s presume you have to go solo. There are 4 types ...
... that you can choose from amongst – 3D, Plasma TV, LCD/LED TV and Projection TV. Each has its own advantages and disadvantages, and for most part the size of the room and the budget will be the deciding factor.
3D is advantageous in that they can also be used for viewing 2D programs and that means no further investment. It is really a two-one advantage that you cannot lose sight of. However price can play havoc, but it worth considering. Plasma TV is quite good; they have a wider viewing angle, save space and cost a lot less than 3D. They have a slimmer look and can be mounted on the wall. The disadvantage is plasma televisions are only good if you get a matching broadcast quality. Go for the LCD/LED if you want a wide range of choice. They are usually light and easy to transport and prices are moderate. Projection television can be delightful if you have a big room and matching equipment to convert the room into something like a home theatre. Decide your priorities and go to the second step.
Step # 2:
Deciding the right screen size is very important after you have decided on the television type. Bigger screens are more expensive than smaller one within the same type. And buyers decide to buy the biggest that their budget will allow. However that is not the sound thing to do. The size of your room and the distance at which you normally sit to watch television is what matters most. Here is small checklist that you consider. A little less or more don’t matter.
1.Screen size 15-26 in – 6-8 feet
2.28-36 in – 8-10 feet
3.36-42 in – 10-12 feet
4.Greater than 42 – 12 feet or more
Step # 3:
This isn’t really a big step. Get to your internet connection and start looking for factory prices. Compare the discounted prices from dealers and order. In the milieu and excitement don’t forget the after sales warranty. Provide some price allowance for some brands. They cost more because they give you psychological satisfaction, and that is all to it, nothing more and nothing less either.
